High expectations. With the 2007 Budget potentially being Gordon Brown’s last, there was high expectation that he might have gone out on a generous note. So what sort of Budget was it? Unfortunately our publishing schedule means that this edition had to be put to bed a few days before the Chancellor made his speech. In our next issue (on April 16) we’ll sort out the substance from the spin in this year’s Budget.
