Replacement company certificates

You need a cert. Companies House has changed its policy on replacement or extra registration certificates.These documents are more than a legal necessity; for example, they are usually required by banks before they will open accounts or accept investments.

Replacement procedure. From November 1 Companies House will only accept a request by letter for a replacement certificate where at least five days have passed since it sent out the original. However, where the original was issued more than three months before, and you require a replacement, you must instead contact CH by telephone on 0303 1234 500, or e-mail enquiries@companies-house.gov.uk.
