Just the 91 no-deal Brexit laws

Keeping them busy. The government is working on 91 statutory instruments which will be tabled under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 . In the event of a no-deal, these will come into force on 29 March 2019.

The impact? No details are available about the content of the new legislation. However, it’s safe to assume that it will meet the requirements of existing EU Directives and therefore be very similar to what’s already in place.

The government is working on new legislation that will be introduced in the event of a no-deal Brexit. If introduced, you can expect it to be similar to what’s already in place.
