The impact of Brexit on safety laws

All change? As the Brexit draws ever closer, some reports are predicting a major impact on health and safety legislation. However, the truth is somewhat different. The current plan is to introduce the Health and Safety (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018 . These clarify that existing duties remain and do not introduce any new obligations on employers. Any major changes to legislation are unlikely to follow any time soon.
