DATA PROTECTION - 21.09.2021

Tell the ICO what support you need!

Changing times. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) published its employment practices code and supplementary guidance many years ago. Since then much has changed in terms of data protection laws and ways of working. As a result, the ICO is planning to replace its code and guidance with new, more user friendly, online resources. It wants to ensure that these planned resources properly address employers’ needs and is therefore seeking input from all employers about its proposals. You can tell the ICO what you need by completing an online survey - views must be submitted by midnight on 21 October 2021 (see The next step ).

For further information on how to submit your views to the ICO, visit https://www.tips-and-advice.co.uk , Download Zone, year 23, issue 16.
