Revocation of the revocation bill

Sensible move. In what appears to be a major policy reversal, the government has announced that it will not proceed wholly with the planned repeal of retained EU laws, including the vital Work at Height Regulations 2005 . Official confirmation, however, is still awaited.

Regulations are here to stay. Media reports suggest that just 600 pieces of EU-era legislation will be scrapped, significantly less than the 4,000 initially proposed. Key safety regulations, including the Work at Height Regulations 2005 , are now expected to be retained.

Key legislation regulating health and safety will remain, keeping both workers and your business protected. Just 600 pieces of EU-era legislation are set to be scrapped.
