TRAINING - 27.02.2024

Did you know that the HSE provides training?

Not just enforcement . The HSE does not just act as the safety police and visit workplaces to find fault and prosecute businesses that are failing in their legal obligations. It is also a proactive body which provides training sessions to help SMEs comply with the myriad regulations.

Competent providers. The training courses have been developed to include practical guidance around regulations and help organisations comply with the law and keep workforces healthy and safe. To make life easier some of the most popular courses are now delivered online. There is still direct dialogue with experts, printed course materials and lots of opportunities to ask questions, just as in a normal training environment. Tip. There is wide variety of training courses available so you can be sure to select a course that is relevant to your business. Some of these are even provided free of charge. For example, there is a recorded session on “Managing the Risk of Manual Handling and Display Screen Equipment for Workers on Site or Working From Home” (see The next step ).

Ensuring you have selected a competent training session for your staff is made easier by the HSE. It endorses training in a wide range of subject matters, some of which are even online, to help you manage the risks in your business.
