Remember everything thanks to Firefox
Have you forgotten your colleague’s birthday again or that lunch meeting with an important customer? Users of Google Calendar (http://www.google.com/calendar) or Yahoo! Calendar (http://calendar.yahoo.co.uk) know that they can set reminders in these calendars. In addition, there are dedicated services such as PingMe (http://www.gopingme.com) and Memo To Me (http://www.memotome.com). However, there’s an even easier solution: ReminderFox (http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/1191), a Firefox extension. After installation, you will see Welcome to ReminderFox! at the bottom right: after double-clicking on this button you can start setting your reminders. You can specify when exactly you wish to be notified (a pop-up plus a sound) and whether the event should be repeated, for instance every year (birthday) or every month (sales meeting). Reminders via text messages are not possible as yet. What makes this reminder tool especially useful is that it simply runs in your browser.
Note. Even when the browser window is minimised, your reminders will pop up. Needless to say that Firefox should be running, otherwise you will again miss your appointment.
