Bing Maps in 3D as well
In Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) you can view 3D images via the Earth option. This requires you to install the Google Earth plug-in application. Competitors can’t afford to lag behind, of course, and that’s why Bing Maps (http://www.bing.com/maps) now also supports three-dimensional maps. When you click on 3D, you will be asked whether the required plug-in may be installed. If you confirm, you will be able to view the 3D images a few moments later by using the Ctrl-key and the mouse. However, Bing supports fewer 3D cities than Google for the time being, and moreover the module was slower in our test.
