Furlough scheme open for claims
The portal to reclaim 80% of an employee’s costs under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) is now open.
The CJRS portal allowing you to reclaim up to 80% of a furloughed employee’s salary opened early this morning. It can be accessed through the Government Gateway here
Before you make the claim, you must certain information to hand and need to be sure that the employee’s salary is eligible under the CJRS. You can check this here
Don’t be surprised if you can’t access the site first (or even second) time. Demand will be heavy so access will be controlled.
